About us

We have one of the best healthcare systems in the world, which sometimes seems like an impenetrable jungle for patients. An illness can be stressful enough for those affected. In addition, organising treatment often costs a lot of energy. Compassana wants to change this. That is why we are pursuing our goal – in line with our name: to become the compass in the Swiss healthcare system with Compassana. We support people in every situation on their health journey.

We promote the integrated collaboration of all relevant actors in the Swiss healthcare system: doctors, medical and medical-related professionals, health insurers, technology providers and many more. In our role as connector and coordinator, we provide support in many ways: patients and healthcare professionals can jointly define treatment pathways. We enable the documentation of treatments and medications and ensure the necessary, simple, and secure communication channels.

Our mission: We work with partners to build an ecosystem in the healthcare sector and provide them with innovative digital solutions. In this way, we support fact-based action in the healthcare sector. Compassana digitally connects service providers. We integrate patients into the care processes in a targeted manner with the Compassana patient app.

Our vision is to put health data and digital tools, such as the Med Cockpit, in the hands of patients and service providers. In this way, we are simplifying access to healthcare and healthcare provision. We enable people in Switzerland to make the best possible recovery in the event of illness or to live more easily with an illness. In doing so, we are making a contribution to efficient, high-quality healthcare. 

Bluespace Ventures AG is the company behind the Compassana healthcare ecosystem. The shareholders Medbase, Hirslanden, Groupe Mutuel, Helsana, SWICA, the LUKS Group and Trifork are pooling their strengths and expertise. Together, they are building Compassana and systematically developing it further - true to our values: trust, cooperation, reliability, excellence and accessibility.
