Actively managing your health care journey using the Compassana Med Cockpit

You are someone who enjoys experiencing new and surprising things when you’re out and about, doing sport and travelling. However, when it comes to your health, you definitely prefer to avoid surprises and expect to receive reliable, confidential, safe and individualised treatment that will get you back on your feet in no time. 

That’s the purpose of the Compassana Med Cockpit: 

Much like the cockpit in an aircraft, it provides your doctors and their treatment team with a quick overview of the health data you and other health care providers have stored and helps them to provide you with the best care possible.  

All you have to do is use the Compassana app and authorise the medical practice or health care provider of your choice to view your health information. It goes without saying that you may revoke your consent at any time. And you can see who has had access to your data whenever you wish. The good thing about this is that all of the people you have chosen are now on the same page when it comes to your health care and can provide you and your chosen treatment team with reliable information. This ensures that you receive personalised care without any gaps in information. 

This Compassana function complies with the principles of “security and privacy by design”, which have been laid down in Article 7 of the new Swiss Data Protection Act “Data protection by design and data protection-friendly default settings” in accordance with Article 25 of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in 2023.  

Naturally, we also had independent cybersecurity experts test the technical security of this Compassana function separately before it was released. 

Please bear in mind: Compassana cannot take the place of your initiative and co-operation plus the expertise of your health care providers.  

It also remains your responsibility to ensure that you provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information in Compassana and to support health care providers so that they can treat you in the best possible way. in this connection, please also note that: If you share health information with service providers and/or allow them to access it, this does not automatically mean that all of the data will be read.
